Set in the sleepy Australian river town of Swan Reach, Peaches is an intriguing and emotionally resonant love story that centers on the story of Steph (Emma Lung, Garage Days), raised by her mothers over-protective best friend Jude (Jacqueline McKenzie, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood) after her parents were killed in an auto accident.

On her 18th birthday, Steph reluctantly takes a job at the local peach cannery, like Jude and her late mother, Jass. Within hours, however, the foreman Alan Taylor (Hugo Weaving, The Matrix Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) orders Steph off the line for being too slow, despite Jude\\'s resistance.

Frustrated and without direction, things finally start to improve when her grandfather secretly presents Steph with her late mother\\'s diary. Steph is excited by the prospect of gaining some sort of insight inot the mother and father she knew almost nothing about. Steph reads the diary and begins to uncover the past - a past that is colorful, fun and sexy... a past which Steph desperately wants to find.

As Steph learns more about her parents, she finds herself falling for Alan Taylor...
